Your GrapeRadio crew was lucky enough to spend the evening and dinner with Robert Parker Jr. The event was held at Valentino’s Restaurant in the beautiful Venetian Hotel – Las Vegas. It was an 8 course meal with an outrageous selection of wine.

Since Valentino’s is one of the top rated Italian restaurant in the USA we were treated to a magical evening of Italian wines. These memorable bottles were personally selected by Robert Parker. In fact, there were 14 different wines in all.

Congratulations to our Creator, Michael Geoghegan who has been selected to create the coming Disney podcast. This first podcast for the Walt Disney Company is part of the kick off for the 50th anniversary celebration of Disneyland, dubbed “The Happiest Homecoming on Earth.”

This is an extremely important event for Disney and we are pleased that they have recognized podcasting as a viable means of sharing this celebration with their fans worldwide. They will be podcasting from the VIP and special press events held at the park Tuesday May 3rd through Thursday May 5th.

Disney fans can look forward to lots of interviews, red carpet affairs and new rides and attractions.

We have chosen the top story for the “Best Wine Story Contest”. If you read any of the submissions you will know what a difficult decision it was to pick a winner. All the stories were memorable. In fact, since all the stories were so good we are going to send a little consolation prize to each of the entries.
