GrapeRadio with Valentino’s Founder Piero Selvaggio

Running a world class restaurant group takes the execution of an orchestra conductor. Over the years Piero Selvaggio has perfected this into an art form.

His creations, Valentino’s – purveyors of fine Italian cuisine, have evolved into some of the nations top restaurants.

Join us with Piero in discussing his philosophy on the marriage of food and wine. Between 1983-2004 they have received the coveted Wine Spectator “Grand Award” for wine selection and in 2004 their Executive Chef Luciano Pellegrini won the James Beard Foundations top award: “Best Chef in the Southwest”

It’s always nice to hear someone who has so much passion for food and wine. Sounds like he is having a great time. I have meant to try this place for years , I will now make sure I find the time to go. Mark J

I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Santa Monica Valentino’s and it was FANTASTIC! Not only does this interview clearly show Piero’s passion for service, but it really does happen in his restaurants!
