Wine Surpasses Beer in America

Wine is Now #1 in America

In case you had not heard – Wine is now the King. According to a new Gallup Poll – Wine has surpassed beer as the preferred alcoholic beverage in America.

Of the 63% of Americans surveyed who say they drink alcohol, 39% claim to drink wine most often. only 36% chose beer while 21% preferred distilled spirits.

    What the article did not say was that Brian Clark’s wine consumption was directly related to wine moving ahead of beer.

    Americans must be growing in sophistication then if as a whole they prefer to drink wine over beer.
