Poll Finds Wine Place and Origin Important

A recent poll conducted by the Center for Wine Origins found that: 57% of Americans believe where a wine comes from is one of the single most important issues in choosing a wine.
This underscores the increasing importance Americans are placing on location when it comes to selecting quality wines. “Whether a wine comes from Napa Valley or Champagne, France, Walla Walla, Washington or Oporto, Portugal – location really matters,” said Shannon Hunt, director of the Center for Wine Origins.
