Wine Maker Margo van Staaveren of Chateau St Jean

Sonoma has long been producing world class wine and Chateau St Jean has been leading the charge. Their wine Cinq Cepages was chosen as 1998’s wine of the year and followed up a few years later with a 2nd place finish.

Today we interview Margo van Staaveren who has played a pivotal role in every facet of the winemaking process at Chateau St. Jean dating back to 1979.
