I’d love to see more local wineries on here – would alter travel plans, driving routes etc to visit wineries that are kind of on the way to/from where I’m going!

    Dear Grape Radio:
Yes I do have a UK address but live in Carlsbad, CA. I plan to own my own vineyard. I have been in publishing for 20 years and a lot like The Shafer’s, I just want to do it.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Business and History and an MBA from Indiana University. I have lived in Southern Ca for 22 years.

Which school or place do I go to get on the fast track????? I have done Kevin Zraly’s book course. I have read the wine bible by Karen McNeil. I have the bug!!! It was a bottle of Tapestry from BV from 2002 that did it for me. Now I am hooked. I already have a mini wine cellar with 120 bottles and it grows every day and I cannot drink that fast. In fact until I was 28 never had a drink of alcohol of any kind. Sort of a Quaker back ground. California cured me of that.

You guys are the greatest, I stay up late at night working on my computer and the internet and listen to new and old shows.

My only challenge is where do I find updated websites. A lot of the shows you did in 2005 and 2006 the websites have merged or do not exist.

I own my business and can put it on hiatus at any time and quite frankly, with my laptop I can work anywhere. I am in fantastic athletic shape, working out 6 days a week, Believe it or not I have been carded twice in the last three weeks, and I will not tell you how old I am.

But I am ready to go.

I saw Jay on the Uncorked series of DVD’s which I have seen too many times to count.

    Please help! Loyal fan!!
