In '99 when I was visiting Disznoko, I spotted several patches (about 50 cm square) of grafts of mold attached to the cave walls. I was told that the new owners, wanting to clean up the caves, had the old mold removed! Now they realized their mistake. The insider explained that the new owners were insurance people. Whether this story was true or not, I enjoy retelling it over a bottle of Disznoko.
