We believe that wine is the greatest of all collectibles. Unlike a rare work of art hanging on your wall unchanged for decades, wine changes considerably throughout its limited lifetime.

Today we discuss how to plan, build, maintain, and enjoy a world class wine collection - regardless of your budget.

Our guest today is Jeff Smith, Founder of Carte du Vin. Jeff offers one of the most complete wine cellar service available today. Jeff also has recently authored the book: The Best Cellar.

Didn’t a host disappear? Can we know why?

David, if you were asking about me, I needed a break. Leigh has moved to Phoenix, but will join us on the larger remote events like HdR.

Thanks for asking. Of course, if your comment was something like “This was by far the best show yet, the GR hosts were really in top form” I would have deleted your post before the others at GR saw it. :-)

    Greetings,

My wife and I are visiting Napa Valley and I ran across your site doing a little piece for my blog.

Very informative and very well done!

    Thanks!

    i miss jay…

i thought that jeff was a great guest. knowledgable and personal. he gave some great advice…. this was a really good show because of him…

i’m not a big fan of our new hostess. i found her questions at times somewhat silly…. i also find her over-enunciating somewhat bothersome. granted, i suppose i could get over that if i found her content better than it was…

    i still love eric…

and bryan is an acquired taste. as i have listened since the beginning, i have come to appreciate him a bit more… anyone who believes taking tasting notes gets in the way of drinking, in my book is alright…
