John Trefethan

Trefethen was founded in 1968, taking up residence in the former Eshcol winery, which had ceased production in 1940. The winery structure was originally built in 1886, and is now the only surviving example of what was once the most common winery architecture in Napa — a three-story wooden gravity-flow winery.

Join us today as John Trefethen takes us back to a time when Napa Valley had 30 wineries – instead of 300, and updates us on what Trefethen Vineyards has been doing all these years.

Seminar: Louis Henry Denis Jadot established Maison Louis Jadot in 1859 in the Burgundy region of France. Over the last 150 years, the renowned wine house has grown to control approximately 360 acres that include Premiers and Grand Crus Vineyards and single Vineyard Crus of Beaujolais.
