(Center, from left) Anthony Dias Blue, Ernst Loosen, Bob Bertheau
Join us for a seminar featuring moderator Anthony Dias Blue and wine makers Ernst Loosen of Dr Loosen and Bob Bertheau of Chateau St. Michelle as they talk about Rieslings from around the world — how they’re doing and where they’re going. While Germany’s Riesling roots run deep, Washington State’s vinifera-growing only goes back to the late ’60s. Yet, Washington’s CSM has found a winning combination in their partnership with Germany’s world-renowned Dr. Loosen Estate — and the result is some outstanding wines.

Love Dr Loosen wines, thanks for the interview. I thought it was interesting that they dicussed a dinner where every course was a paired with a riesling. Never thought about it but it makes sense. Danny
Guys thank you for another great show, I love these white wines and charts with days of sunshine and sugar levels were great. PD
Where is the pdf file your spoke about?
Above you can click on Seminar A or Seminar B. Seminar A covered the first half of the seminar - Rieslings from around the world and Part B covers the rielsings of Washington. Let us know if you have any problems downloading.

Worked like a charm. You guys are just too much. I’m going to take these notes and listen to the tape again. This may be one of your best.
Went back and downloaded the slides. Together with your audio, the slides yield what is a veritable text book on Riesling Easily one of your three best shows ever. I think things like maps and slides really flesh out a show.
Great show. I spoke to Ernie last night and he told me some interesting general information. Take a look at http://winesweden.blogspot.com/2007/05/vdp-grosser-ring-mosel-saar-ruwer.html
