I enjoy reading many of James Beard’s books (the introductions are as good as the recipies) and often it includes suggested pairings - so they are carrying the flame by including wine appreciation and recognizing Grape Radio’s excellance in wine educational.

Jim Beard was the Alton Brown of his times - now if we could have Alton do a wine show we could see if he is the Jim Beard of our times.

If not, I’d be more than happy to share a glass with Mario Batali based on what I read in the recent book “Heat”.

I knew that the James Beard Society gave out awards for the best resturants in the US but I had no idea that you could win them for other categories. Greeat job. Keep the wine talk and podcast coming. L

The James Beard Foundation is just verifying what I have known for the last 2 years. GrapeRadio Rocks!!!

It is a terrific wine education program. There are many other wine podcast out there but they simply do not measure up.
