Our new Correspondent, Rusty Gaffney (AKA: The Prince of Pinot) hit the road last week to cover the annual charity event “Hospice de Sonoma”.
Modeled after the world-renowned “Hospices de Beaune” auction held annually in Beaune, France this wine event raised over $450,000 to benefit local charities. The auction is the only place where you can barrel-taste and bid on 2006 vintage Pinot Noirs from the world’s preeminent Sonoma Coast, Russian River Valley, Green Valley and Sonoma Carneros.

Nice report. Like the “news flash” aspect. Why no sponsor?
We figured we would keep these free of sponsor messages. My hat is off to Rusty for the great idea.

I’m confused…is it “Hospice OF”, “Hospice DU” or “Hospice DE” Sonoma, because you guys used them interchangeably…

Pretty lame. Not very polished. Not a lot of information. You could have saved me about three minutes of time by just putting up a link.
Fair enough Fred. I would really like to hear some suggestions on the kind of information we could have put in the show to make it worth your time. I am sorry that this one did not live up to your expectations.
As a general rule, do you feel the same way about our other shows?
