Do not underestimate Dave's knowledge. If people go out and do the comparison as Dave suggests, then he will accomplish his goal of increasing sales and at the same time get people to challenge themselves to try wines they might dismiss. As to which of those goals is more important, who knows? As to your advice about getting blasted before a podcast, I LIKE IT! :-) G, we did not turn the comments off, there seems to be a glitch on making comments on older shows. I just heard the Del Dotto podcast, and I have to say that 1.5 hours was way too much to devote to that man. Sorry, he just doesn't know what he's talking about. Jay, that was actually your best podcast yet (maybe you perform better when drunk) -- you were right to challenge him as many times as you did, and I wish you had challenged him even more. I hope the GrapeRadio team, or some of your listeners, will actually take Dave up on his offer to put his wines up against basically every other wine in the world in a blind tasting. Please post the results, as I think the wine world is pretty sure how they will turn out. Del Dotto is an embarassment, typical millionaire-turned-winemaker who gives Napa a bad name.
