I enjoyed the show as well. I found Eric's comment about exploring all of the wine possibilties, instead of focusing on certain varietals interesting, especially the comment about people who like Pinot also like syrah. I am a huge pinot fan and also have enjoyed Syrah. I am also looking at Temperanillo as well. So I agree with Eric in that you should explore, but you need to know your tastes and what you do like and what you don't and go down that path.

Keep up the good work and I hope Frank comes back.

Good topic for a show! Agree on having a budget but more importantly knowing where you are in that budget and re-evaluating it as taste/finances/life events change.

Frank, Welcome!! Jay, don't give in to his demands for the "brand new house on the episode of Cribs, a bathroom you can play baseball in, and a tub big enough for 10 + me and a star on Hollywood Blvd between Cher and James Dean"

Cheers!

I really enjoyed this show. In many ways, it made me realize just how much of a wine geek I am, because I am completely familiar with all the in and outs of mailing lists, bringing your own wine, and dealing with corked bottles. While I think many fellow wine geeks have their own set of do's and don'ts that they adhere to, I was wondering if there were any do's and don'ts that the novice wine drinker should keep in mind when, for example, visiting a wine shop, ordering wine at a restaurant, or serving/bringing wine to a dinner party?

Great job, guys! And DO bring Frank back for more shows!

Do ALWAYS store you wine under 72 degree! A few hours over 78 degree will kill a wine! Proper storage is Paramount!

DO MAKE SURE YOUR STEMWARE IS ALWAYS CLEAN with just hot water!
