I know we are not Bordeaux wines- but down in the Aude, we have fabulous wines in the Minervois, Corbieres, La Liviniere, and more.

If the subscribers are planning a trip down south, have a look at thi sdirectory to find winemakers and wine producers in the Aude

Paul, I could not agree more about your point about following a bottle with close friends over the course of an evening. I like to keep the number of people rather small (4-6).

superb interview! i'm not even done with it and i felt the need to say how enjoyable it is!

drinking wine is one of the great pleasures in life. tasting wines can be fun as well, but to share a bottle or two with some friends and follow the evolution of the wine over the course of a couple of hours is far more interesting to me than tasting 15 different wines.

This was a great interview, and the one that got me into graperadio. To hear a winemaker from a big, pretentious french winemaker say "drink the wine, don't just taste it - I drink a bottle of wine every night!!" was completely unexpected for me. Very down to earth, and confirms my own personal belief that wine is a beverage. It's a great beverage, but don't take it too seriously. Keep up the great work guys this was an amazing interview.

Excellent show. It's nice to see the 3rd generation who is just as passionate about the family business as the founders. And it's nice to hear that he actually enjoys a bottle of wine nightly! Which, oddly, is something I think people in the wine business often neglect doing.

Can anyone reply with the name of the property that Edouard claims outperforms Petrus in certain years but they intentionally keep the prices low, and therefore it doesn't sell out? It sounded like he said Chateau Tour de Mons, but I believe that is in Margaux. Anyone catch that name?
