I agree with Mr. Clark. Events can be interesting, but the people, the vineyard, the winery, the region, the wine, the techniques, are all so much more interesting and educational. We know its not in the budget to go to Bordeaux and Chianti all the time, but even talking about Livermore Valley or Sierra Foot Hills and the unique wines they make would be nice. Though I understand these events are gonna happen anyway so there is no reason not to cover them. The non-event episodes are my favorites and are all well done, I just wish there were more of them. Plus I'm jealous that you guys always get to go the events and I don't.

I have been giving this some thought about the videos Graperadio has been producing and here is some feedback. I personally feel this video and several other videos have been about or around wine events. I personally enjoy the videos that are about the wine. Stewards of the Land, Schramsberg, and the Champagne Videos are my favorite because they about the wines, the winery, the land, or the people that make the wine. If you look at the favorite videos, they follow this pattern. They are indepth and great. I feel that the event videos are so limited in their content for each interview that they jump around a lot and don't give focus to the wine. I think that is why I love the seminars. They don't jump around and they are focused on the wine, making of it or the people who do make it. Plus, there is so much knowledge that is given, that I just love them (hey, it's wine geek in me)

My suggestion is work on more videos about the wine and act of making wine, including the people who are involved, but give focus to the wine.

I'd be interested to hear other opinions on this subject.
