The domaine is inside the chateau of Beaune over the tunnels and cellars that are several hundred years old. The wines speak for themselves. An interesting and humorous complication…by mistake we went to Domaine Bouchard Aine et Fils for our appointment. Bouchard Aine et Fils is a competitor and not related at all to Bouchard Pere et Fils, although there is a common ancestor from about 150 years or so ago. The folks at the “other” Bouchard were pleasant and polite as they directed us to the correct location.
